Travel back in time

An Unforgettable tour journey to some of Outlander’s most recognisable set locations. Travelling west from Edinburgh the first stop of this tour is Blackness Castle, a 15th century fortress used as the setting for Fort William. Then on to Doune Castle, a medieval stronghold which provides the setting for Castle Leoch and is home to the Clan Mackenzie. Also featured in Game Of Thrones and Monty Pythons Holy Grail. The next stop is the village of Culross in Fife, the setting of Cranesmuir witch trials.

Then on to Falkland Palace, the setting for 1940’s Inverness. Remaining in Fife the next destination is Dysart Harbour, the setting of the French port, Le Harve. Journey over the Forth Bridge for the final stop before returning to Edinburgh at Midhope Castle, the real-life Lallybroch.
